House
The house system is a traditional feature of schools in England, originating in England. The practice has since spread to common wealth countries and the United States. The school is divided into subunit called ‘houses’ and each student is allocated to one house at the moment of enrolment. Houses may compete with one another at sports and may be in other ways, thus providing a focus for group loyalty.
The house system is one of great importance to school life. One of main strengthsof the house system is giving students of all ages the opportunity to work together, creating a truly cohesiveenvironment and ensuring that age is not a barrier to friendship and collaboration .This reflects the life that we are preparing our students for outside of FPS, nowhere beyond the confines of a classroom will they be required to work interact with those only of their own age.
A secondary feature of house system is the competition between houses. For example. The traditional school ‘Sports Day’ is usually an inter-house competition, Debate competition , singing competition, Dance competition, speech competition, Rakhi making competition, Fort making competition, board decoration competition are also often organized along inter-house lines.
At Fabtech Public School we have four house named Green, Red, Blue and Yellow. These names represent certain qualities. They helped in Carving the principled modern world that we live in today.
Green House
Motto : A team above all & above all a team.
The colour green relates to balance and harmony. From a colour psychology perspective, it is the great balance of the heart and the emotions, creating equilibrium between the head and the heart. This is an emotionally positive colour, giving us the ability to love and nurture ourselves and others unconditionally. Green is also the colour of prosperity and abundance of finance and material weak. Like the above colour qualities students of the green house are down the Earth, sociable and responsible. All consistently good performers in academics as well as sports.
Red House
Motto : Red Essential. Limitless Potential.
The colour red is a worm and positive colour associated with our most physical needs and our will to survive. It exudes a strong and powerful masculine energy. Red is energizing. It excites the emotions and motivates us to take action. It signifies a pioneering spirit and leadership qualities, promoting ambition and determination. It is also strong – willed and can give confidence to those who are shy or lacking in will power- being the colour of physical movement. The colour red awakens our physical life force. Like the above colour quality students of red house are known for their togetherness and face adversities as a team. They are the jacks of all trades performing to the best of their abilities in sports and cultural events.
Blue House
Motto : Striving towards excellence with humility in our hearts.
This colour is one of the trust, responsibility, honesty and loyalty. It is sincere reserved and quiet and doesn’t like to make a fuss or draw attention it hates confrontation, and likes to do things in its own way. This colour exhibits and inner security, confidence and seek peace, all rounders, tranquility above everything else promoting both physical and mental relaxation. Like the above quality of colour blue. Blue house students possess immense intellectual,vitality. They committed to their goals and are allrounders and achievers. Though known for intelligence students of this house can summon immense courage in other fields as well as duty calls.
Yellow House
Motto : Be respectful. Be responsible, Shine on.
The colour yellow relates to acquired knowledge. Yellow colour which resonates with the left or logic side of the brain , stimulating our mental faculties and creating mental ability and perception being the lightest hue of the spectrum, the colour , psychology of yellow is uplifting and illuminating , offering hope, happiness, cheerfulness and fun . Yellow also inspires original thought and inquisitiveness. Yellow is creative from a mental aspects the colour of new ideas, helping us to find new ways of doing things. It is the practical thinker, not the dreamer. This the best colour to create enthusiasm and optimism. Like the above quality of yellow colour students if the yellow house are usually described as impeccable, per excellent, dependable, radiant, exquisite and spectacular.
